Official Master's Degree in International Migration

Human mobility constitutes a factor of immense complexity in the globalised era. The deep ethical, social, economic, political and legal repercussions of this phenomenon require a rigorous thought from the university framework.

After 13 years of teaching migration-related courses run by Comillas Pontifical University, the University Institute of Studies on Migration (Instituto Universitario de Estudios sobre Migraciones – IUEM) presents the 7th edition of the University Master on International Migrations, adapted to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
This official degree favours the analysis of migrations and all their complexity, and intends to meet up to the expectations of professionals with expertise in the different areas related to migrations.

Given that we demand a deep and rigorous learning which is sometimes hard to combine with other professional activities, we have decided to go for a blended-learning methodology. This system combines online learning with in-person sessions based on the use of new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT’s). Moreover, we have chosen a training program that offers the possibility of being taught in one or two academic years.

The full training of the students is completed with an internship in public or private bodies that enable them to come in contact with the reality behind migration.
