If you are serious about studying dentistry, consider the Degree in Dentistry from UIC. The Degree in Dentistry at the UIC equips students with thorough scientific knowledge, technical skills and the ability to effectively apply what they have learned to the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of a wide range of dental diseases and ailments.The programme's comprehensive curriculum addresses topics in dental structure and function, biomechanics of the normal and affected dental apparatus, as well as the most innovative techniques and procedures used in the treatment of abnormalities. Students will learn the basic sciences, such as biology, microbiology and epidemiology so that they may graduate with a solid scientific background. With regard to the facilities, the UIC University Dental Clinic (CUO) is equipped with modern equipment and uses the up to date technology necessary for proper dental treatment. Students will gain hands-on experience in a professional dental setting, which will allow them to increase their practical knowledge and begin their required work placements with confidence. At all times, students can count on the guidance of their clinic instructors, all of whom are practising dentists.
