Our one year course is the ideal first step towards a management career in tourism, where the opportunities are vast from hotels and accommodation to airlines and cruise ships, resorts, attractions, and tour operators. You will study as part of our flourishing Business School, with support from academics who bring extensive industry experience from across the tourism and hospitality disciplines. Alongside a global cohort of students, you will study the processes of strategic management and decision making at the heart of the international hospitality industry. And develop skills in marketing and event management, alongside theoretical approaches to policy and planning.

Our course can be studied either full time (one year) or part time (two years). It consists of four distinct modules that all use an extensive range of examples and case studies to reflect the global nature of the industry. They are: Tourism Policy and Planning; Strategic Management in a Hospitality Environment; Event Management; and Hospitality and Tourism Marketing.
