My name is Andrea and I was an AFEPA student from 2010-2012 so I´m the first generation graduate. I was born in Slovakia. After Bachelor studies at the Slovak University of Agriculture (Nitra, Slovakia), I decided to apply for AFEPA. My destinations were Uppsala an
d Budapest. ¿What's the best? Firstly, the friendship and cultural sharing. I met some great people during those two years and they made my life special. In fact, they also changed me. Everything passed so quickly and now (six months after everything is over) my mind is pulsing with a strange feelin
g of nostalgia. Secondly, the professional background. I found out in which direction I want to lead my life and what I want to do. I got a real passion for rural development issues, specially related to the Central European region from where I come from and where I was born. Thirdly, the independen
ce and personal development. I’ve learnt to COOK! I’ve learnt to manage my monthly budget and I’ve learnt to take care of myself hundreds/thousands kilometers away from home.
